Description

Located on the South Perth Foreshore, Sir James Mitchell Park stretches along the Swan River from Mends Street Jetty to McCallum Park at the Causeway Bridge. With 15 function sites to choose from, the park is the ideal venue for outdoor events including weddings, corporate events, community events and social functions. Each zone offers breathtaking views of Perth's CBD and the river.

Please note:

    * Glass is not permitted on the reserve for functions/events

    * Barbecues, shelters, benches and playgrounds are public facilities and can not be exclusively booked

    * Vehicle access is only available through marked gates.

    * Department of Parks and Wildlife and Minister for Lands consent may be required for bookings on some zones in SJMP. If consent is required, you will need to provide six weeks notice prior to your event. Permit fees, in addition to booking fees, may apply.

  • Zone 1, Esplanade North, is located between the rose garden and Queen Street jetty. This area is suitable for wedding ceremonies, corporate events, private events and social functions. No temporary structures or marquees larger than 3m x 3m are permitted. Please note that there is no vehicle access to this zone and all functions must cease by 8pm.
